AI Architect Mastermind

Solve something. Learn something.

A small group of Dallas–Fort Worth owners and executives who meet on Thursday nights to put AI to work in their own companies. Dinner, live demos from people who are building, and one member’s real problem worked out before the night is over.

Why a mastermind

The CEO has to be the AI architect.

When AI is handed to the IT department or a tiger team, it tends to stay a set of pilots. The leaders getting a return are learning it themselves, hands on the keyboard, and pointing it at the work that matters most in their business.

The Mastermind started on Thursday, September 17, 2026, when Mike Fromhold invited a group of DFW business owners over for dinner to show each other what they were building with AI. By the end of the night the group was asking when the next one was. It has met on Thursday nights since.

Between meetings the group stays on one text thread. When someone gets stuck on something the next day or the next week, they post it there and the others help.

What to expect

What a Thursday night looks like.

  1. Dinner and introductions

We start around 7 with dinner and a quick round: your name, your business and what you want AI to do for you.

  2. Show what you built

Members put what is working for them on the big screen, from a personal AI assistant with its own memory to agents that handle a small firm’s daily admin.

  3. Solve one real problem

One member brings a real problem from their business, like turning blueprints into a bid, and the room spends 30 to 45 minutes working it out together.

  4. Small groups

Laptops open. Groups of three or four work on each other’s projects, then each group shows the room what it got done.

  5. One to ten

We close by going around the room: rate the night from 1 to 10 and name one thing you will use tomorrow or next week.

  6. 06

    Lead it yourself

How to lead AI as the CEO: what to point it at first, how to redesign the work and how to bring your people along.

From the first night

Most of the room said ten.

At the end of the first Mastermind, Mike went around the room and asked each person to rate the night from 1 to 10 and name their biggest takeaway. Here’s some of what we heard.

“I came in with a much smaller view of what AI can do. Now I have a much broader view of what I can do.”
Biggest takeaway
“Fellowship with a group of guys, talking shop and hearing how each of us is putting the same tools to work in different ways.”
Rated the night 10
“Everyone in this room got that wow moment more than once tonight.”
Rated the night 10
“It’s great to be in a room where everyone is focused on growing. It tells me we’re all trying to get better.”
“Seeing fellow business owners using AI and adapting it in their own companies gave me a lot of enthusiasm.”
Rated the night 10
“Solve a problem together, then learn from it. Solve something, learn something.”
Rated the night 10
“I’m walking out of here with ideas we can use to power our team, and even our clients.”
Biggest takeaway
“I learned from hearing what everyone is applying. Things we can pull in right away to save time and cut steps.”
Biggest takeaway
“AI can’t lead itself. It has to be led by someone.”

Request an invite

Ask for a seat.

The group stays small so everyone gets a turn at the screen. Tell us about you and what you want AI to do in your business, and we’ll reach out about an upcoming Thursday.

Questions

AI Architect Mastermind, answered.

When and where does the AI Architect Mastermind meet?

Thursday evenings in Dallas–Fort Worth, starting around 7. Request a seat and we’ll send the next date and the address.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Some members build their own tools and some are just getting started. What matters is that you want to use AI in your own business and you’re willing to share what you learn.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, and one real problem from your business you’d like AI to help with.

How is it different from the Collective Roundtable?

The Roundtable is a quarterly evening on leadership, teams and culture. The Mastermind meets more often and is hands-on, working on AI in each member’s own business.

How do I get a seat?

Request one on this page. Every seat is by invitation, and the group stays small.
